There are a lot of followers of this game on social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. The team arrangement, the car selection, the tracks, the drivers, and the infamous Ravenwest.Ī lot of game lovers already playing this game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, and other well-known operating systems. The campaign mode is just too fun to play. This might not have the best graphics but it is definitely worth the money. But other than that, for a game that came out in 2008, this was beyond the generation. The legendary 787-B Mazda is soooooooooo grippy at Le Mans to the point where you have to break the car so much to the point where the car completely gets stop. OK, I will admit that drifting is hella hard in this game.īut once you get the hang of it, it’s actually extremely fun. And then, I remembered that I spun with a drift car in the game and that was the reason I spun everywhere. Even though I played this on the computer keyboard, the movement is as smooth as a butter and I’m not kidding. I started playing this game again and this game was the best as far as the physics, better than what I played over the recent years. I was so unhappy so I threw the game and played with NFS: Hot Pursuit all day beside the Grid. I have been playing this game since 2012 when I was like 4 and, OH MAN I SPUN EVERYWHERE. ![]() Yeah i use 7-Zip too but when I unzipped the update I used microsoft's unzipping tool.Race Driver: Grid Game Highly Compressed Download For Pc.Race Driver: Grid is a 2008 racing video game developed and published by Codemasters for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, arcade, Java ME and OS X. Would just make transferring slower than USB2.0 as far as i'm aware. Wouldn't have thought that connecting via USB1.1 wouldn't affect things i think. Thank you CM (for nothing)!!! Roy Rogers horse Trigger could count better than the CM Codies! Edited by JimD2525 USB2.0 made Xplorer360 response/reading X360 HDD faster, USB1.1 is okay though. Loaded GRID, did a single lap in any car (other than '8 ball' DLC car), (or you can retire, or wreck & retire), 'Gotta Drive 'Em All' Achievement popped up/awarded. Drag/dropped file to X360 (System)Cache (as described above). WinRAR verified no CRC errors, & extracted/unpacked AOK. So I deleted corrupt-file (off computer), downloaded Grid TU1 again. Now that I know you had success, when I receive/install the USB2 PCI Peripheral Card, I will FIRST (again) clear X360 (System)Cache, unzip the GRID TU1 (Title Update) file, and drag/drop (using M$ Transfer-Cable, WinXP SP3 & Xport360) in X360 Cache.Įdit: Problem was TU1 (zipped) File was corrupt. So though USB2 (IS) backwards compatible with USB1.1, I (now) am thinking the X360 HDD (which IS, in reality a repackaged SATA HDD)), has problems when connected to a USB1.1 Port. Re Cube623: I used 7-zip to Unzip the GRID TU1, I will try WinRAR instead (possibly?) (though I have been using 7-zip for "years" without any problems).Īs you had SUCCESS, then it is NOT a Locale-Compatibility problem, (Australia is grouped with UK, I have several games bought from UK).Īnother "possibility/problem?", I was NOT able to connect to USB2 (fast-speed), had to use USB1.1 (have ordered a 'USB2 PCI Peripheral Card'). ![]() Used WinRAR instead and all was well Edited by Cube623 Though I suspect there is more to it (?) all they need to do is change a 6 to a 4Įdit: Just a quick question what are you using to unzip the file? Just heard of someone experiencing the same problem as you (immediate Disk-Read errors) and they're were using 7-Zip? (i think). We shouldn't be messing with title updates and such to get it to work. Have to agree though that while I do like this game an update to fix an update that broke another update which fixed the problem (tongue tied much!) should have come out years ago. Any Ozzies tried this fix yet? Can only assume that what you've suspected is true, that this update doesn't work with Australian copies of GRID Hmmm does seem like you've done everything to the letter.toughie. I have since contacted CM re their Car counting error (I being only one of many), I won't hold my breath but sooner or later (most likely later) CM will HAVE to release a TU especially as they have re-released GRID on DVD & 'flogging' it on Xbox-LIVE. (Which lead me to believe there was a Locale/Compatibility issue with TU1.Ĭleared System-CACHE, no further game-disc read failures. (Stupid) X360 continued with DVD-Disc read failure. Reconnected HDD, loaded GRID, immediate failure reading (GRID) game-disc, copied game to HDD & rebooted. (Used Transfer-cable & Xport360 to connect/read X360-HDD on Windows XP SP3). Re Cube623 : perhaps then I had a Locale issue with the TU1 file, I first cleared X360 CACHE, then used Transfer-cable to drag/drop the TU1 in (System-CACHE).
